Former Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate in Nasarawa State, David Ombugadu, has officially joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Ombugadu joined the APC on Tuesday after resigning his membership from the PDP.
DAILY POST had reported that Ombugadu, popularly known as Davematics, resigned his membership of the party following weeks of speculation surrounding his political future.
Recall that the former two-term member of the House of Representatives announced his resignation in a letter dated February 28, 2026, addressed to the PDP chairman of Ikka Wangibi Ward in Nassarawa Eggon Local Government Area.
Following his defection, Ombugadu also declared his interest in running for the Nasarawa North Senatorial District in 2027.
