2027: Why Nigerians at home, diaspora will vote for Tinubu’s re-election — Suzuki

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Hajia Amina Suzuki, has said Nigerians at home and in the diaspora will support the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima in 2027, citing what she described as economic stabilization under the current administration.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, Suzuki, who serves as the ruling party’s chairperson in France, said the Tinubu-led government has guided Nigeria through difficult economic conditions toward stability.

She noted that the administration has restored order to public finances and repositioned the oil and gas sector, particularly through the recent Presidential Executive Order mandating direct oil revenue remittance to the Federation Account.

“Nigeria’s economic narrative is changing for the better.

“From stabilizing public finances to ensuring transparency in oil revenue remittances, this administration has demonstrated a commitment to long-term economic reforms,” she stated.

Suzuki maintained that these efforts have strengthened confidence in the government’s economic direction and would earn the president and his deputy widespread support in 2027.
