Saudia extends flight suspensions to multiple cities until March 6

Saudi Arabia’s national airline, Saudia, has extended the suspension of its flights to several cities, including Amman, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Doha, Bahrain, Moscow and Peshawar.

In a statement released on March 4, the airline said the cancellations will continue for two more days, until 23:59 GMT on March 6.

It explained that the measure is a precaution due to the current situation.

The airline said it is closely monitoring developments through its emergency coordination centre, working with relevant authorities to ensure passenger safety and smooth operations.

Saudia added that passengers affected by the cancellations will be contacted via the details provided in their bookings.

It also advised travellers to check the status of their flights before going to the airport.

The airline thanked passengers for their understanding, saying the situation is beyond its control, and promised to share further updates through its official platforms.
