
Israel Defense Forces, IDF, has disclosed that it has eliminated over 190 terrorists, including a Palestinian Islamic Jihad, PIJ, commander in Lebanon, Abu Hamza Rami.
IDF stated this in a post on X on Sunday while providing updates on a week of combat against Hezbollah.
It noted that over 600 terror targets were struck across Lebanon from the air, sea, and ground, using 820 munitions.
“600 plus terror targets were struck across Lebanon from the air, sea, and ground using 820 munitions,” IDF tweeted.
“190 plus terrorists were eliminated, including Abu Hamza Rami, Commander of PIJ in Lebanon, along with several senior commanders.
“27 waves of strikes were conducted in Beirut, including five in the Dahieh area.”
Meanwhile, two Israeli soldiers were killed in Lebanon.
The deaths in southern Lebanon are the first among its troops since Israel-Hezbollah hostilities resumed last week.
One of the soldiers was named by the IDF as Master Sergeant Maher Khatar, 38, from Majdal Shams, from the Combat Engineering Corps in the 91st division.
The other soldier has not yet been named, and no further details have been released about their deaths.
