A student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST ), identified as Akosua Owusuaa, has reportedly died under mysterious circumstances.
Owusuaa apparently fell ill in school last week and, after some time, made her way home to get more care. Painfully, she was reported dead in the early hours of Monday.
According to reports, the dying was a Degree 300 student studying for a degree in Forest Resource Technology.
News of her death has left her family and companions stunned. On social media, users were flabbergasted to know of yet another dreadful student suicide on the KNUST school.
Akosua’s fatality comes shortly after another scholar, Joanna Deladem Yabani was found killed on the school’s school. Joanna was afterwards found out to have been murdered by her own partner, a other Level 400 natural science student, Daniel Tuffuour. Tuffuor is now on trial ahead of his test.
Apart from Joana, media reports of individuals being reported dying at KNUST are nothing new, leading to some pushback from social media users.
Netizens called for a’ religious action’ at the university, with several wondering what precisely was leading to all these’ unusual’ deaths.
