Crisis in the DRC: an unprecedented dialogue between the FRAPP and the Ambassador of Rwanda

Following the ban on a sit-in in front of the Embassy of Rwanda in Dakar, Ambassador Jean-Pierre Karabaranga initiated a meeting with the Front for a Popular and Pan-African Anti-Imperialist Revolution (FRAPP). The objective was to exchange views on the situation in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), in particular on the violence linked to the M23 and the alleged role of Rwanda in the conflict. The organization stressed the importance of a political and diplomatic solution to achieve a lasting peace. The European Union welcomes the efforts of the African Union and its Member States to ensure that the situation in the Horn of Africa remains as it is today, and calls on the African Union and its Member States to continue their efforts to ensure that the situation in the Horn of Africa remains as it is today. The FRAPP calls for a pan-African mobilization to defend the sovereignty of peoples and promote an inclusive dialogue in the resolution of regional conflicts.
