
The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency, LASEPA, has sealed several business establishments across Satellite Town, Ikotun-Idimu Road, Ejigbo, and Egbe Road for persistent noise pollution and failure to comply with environmental regulations.
This was made known in a statement by LASEPA on Wednesday on X.
According to the agency, the enforcement exercise was carried out after repeated monitoring and warnings failed to bring the establishments into compliance with stipulated environmental standards, particularly those regulating excessive noise emissions.
The affected establishments include Power Exploits Ministry International, Kafe Mall, Mingles Hotel, Ojei Golden Gate, and Fernando Global Products Limited.

The facilities includes churches, malls, hotels, bars, and a shoe manufacturing company were found guilty of non-compliance with LASEPA’s environmental regulations and directives, particularly regarding excessive noise emissions and failure to adhere to stipulated environmental standards.
Speaking on the development, LASEPA’s General Manager, Babatunde Ajayi, reiterated the agency’s strict stance on environmental violations.
“Noise pollution remains a serious environmental concern with adverse effects on public health, safety, and general well-being.
“The enforcement action became necessary following repeated warnings and failure of the affected establishments to comply with regulatory requirements,” he said.
Ajayi also called on every business in Lagos State to get the required environmental permits and set up proper noise control systems. He warned that they must strictly follow environmental laws to avoid being penalized.
He further emphasized that LASEPA will continue to monitor environmental compliance across the state.
“Any individual or organization found violating environmental regulations will face appropriate legal consequences,” he warned.
