Tragic – 24-year-old MoMo Vendor in Kwadaso Murdered at Home, Robbers Make Away with Ghc 200,000

A 24-year-old mobile money ( MoMo ) vendor in Kwadaso in the Ashanti region was found murdered to death in his room at the Old VAG area on Monday.
Boateng Junior was found with some attack sores and a cut mouth, according to 3News. His body was found dead in a pool of blood.
Unverified reports allege the intruders made off with over GHC 200, 000 in cash.
The deceased apparently runs a very powerful MoMo walk at the new Racecourse business, having previously worked out of the Kwadaso vegetable business.
According to relatives of the deceased, Junior typically returns house with large sums of money from his week. They believe he returned home on Saturday with a large sum of money, which attracted pirates to him.
Officials believe he might have been trailed home from work to his home and attacked within his household.
Junior was killed and was not discovered until a scent came out of his room on Monday, leading government to check.
This assault comes on the feet of a related new death in Kumasi where Patricia Nimako, a 27-year-old MoMo contractor, was shot dead at Kofrom. Nimako, unlike Junior, was killed while at work after the adversaries approached her pretending to be buyers. Following the murder, pirates bolted with Ghc 10, 000 and an unidentified number of mobile devices.
However, authorities are officially investigating the crime of Junior. No defendants has been arrested thus far.
