Chelsea boss, Liam Rosenior has commented on goalkeeper, Filip Jorgensen’s mistake against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League Round of 16 first leg tie on Wednesday.
Jorgensen started in goal ahead of Robert Sanchez, but the 23-year-old was at fault for PSG’s third as his pass was intercepted before Vitinha produced an excellent lob to extend the Parisians’ lead.
Chelsea went on to lose 5-2 against Luis Enrique’s side in Paris ahead of the return leg at Stamford Bridge next week.
Speaking at his post-match interview after the game, Rosenior said about Jorgensen’s error, “Players sometimes make mistakes.
“Filip is not the first one to make a mistake that is part of football.”
Chelsea will now shift their attention to the Premier League as it prepares to host Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
