Le quartier de Diamaguène/Sicap Mbao is under shock, the lifeless body of a newborn of female sex was discovered on Sunday at 14h, in a house under construction. In shock, she rushed to the home of her grandmother, Mrs. A. Kane, to inform her. Alerted, the latter alerted the other members of the family, who went to the scene before contacting the police. Once on the spot, the agents had delimited the perimeter and proceeded to the first observations. The body of the infant was taken to the Idrissa Pouye Hospital in Grand-Yoff for an autopsy which should allow the exact cause of death to be established. In the meantime, a preliminary investigation has been opened by the local police to identify and arrest the perpetrators of this crime.
