Afia Schwarzenegger has dropped a new video showing her with the American music legend, Ja Rule, real name Jeffrey Bruce Atkins.
Afia met Ja Rule and went up to him for a short video recording. She shared the video, showing her chatting with the veteran rapper/singer.
Schwarzenegger brought up Ja Rule’s connections to Ghana, praising him for his decision to build a school here.
“I’m here with the legend…on behalf of every Ghanaian child I just want to say thank you so much,” Afia told Ja Rule.
Afia added that she will meet Ja Rule in Ghana.
Ja Rule is currently financing the construction of a six-unit classroom block plus additional facilities for the Anglican Basic School in Nuaso in the Eastern Region of Ghana. He is working in partnership with Pencils of Promise, an international non-profit.
In November, Ja Rule shared photos of the classroom block under construction on his Instagram. “My school in Ghana is looking beautiful can’t wait till it’s finished,” he captioned the post.
Ja Rule’s initiative follows a similar move from Ghanaian-American comedian, Michael Blackson, who also established a school for students in his mother’s hometown of Agona Nsaba. The school is free for students in the village to attend.
