The Director General of the Abia State Strategic Communications Bureau, Onyebuchi Ememanka has condemned the statement credited to human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore, where he said that Governor Alex Otti is being over rated.
Sowore had in a circulating video, said that what he saw in Aba when he participated in the free Nnamdi Kanu protest was ‘half-transformation’ of Aba city and not complete transformation as claimed by a Labour Party member.
But reacting the Sowore challenge, the Director General of Abia State Strategic Communications Bureau, Onyebuchi Ememanka said that Sowore came to Abia to do a cheap hatchet job.
He said it was wrong for the human rights activist to conclude his assessment of Governor Alex Otti’s performance after spending less than 24 hours in Aba.
Ememanka who said that Otti is loved by Aba residents because of what he has done in their city, noted that Sowore would have had a rough day from the residents in Aba had he made the comment while still inside the Aba town.
“How can Sowore spend less than 24 hours in Aba and know Aba more than those who live here?
” Anyway Sowore is lucky. If he wanted to know first hand if Governor Alex Otti is loved and appreciated by the people in Aba, he should have told the people that day that Otti is not doing anything.
” How would have had a taste of Umu Aba that day” Ememanka said.
Otti’s media aid hits Sowore for rating Governor’s performance low
