A number of Nigerian soldiers have reportedly lost their lives after a terrorist attack in the Girinmasa area of Yauri Local Government Area in Kebbi State.
The incident was revealed in a post shared on X on Tuesday by security analyst, Bakatsine.
According to the post, suspected Lakurawa fighters launched the attack on troops stationed in the area, resulting in casualties among the soldiers.
āToday, Lakurawa terrorists killed several Nigerian soldiers in Girinmasa, Yauri LGA of Kebbi State.
āMay Allah have mercy on the fallen heroes and bring to end this insecurity ravaging Nigeria,ā Bakatsine wrote .
As of the time of filing this report, military authorities have not issued an official statement regarding the attack.
