Rwanda has announced its provisional team for the upcoming match against the Super Eagles in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.  

Rwanda’s head coach Adel Amrouche has announced a provisional squad of 28 players for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Nigeria and Lesotho. Key players include Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari, Sabail FK striker Innocent Nsuthi, and dependable midfielder Bizmana Djihad, who is with Libyan club Al Ahli Tripoli. Additional important figures are Mugisha Bonheur, Jojea Kwizera, Steve Rubanguka, and Hakim Sahabo. Amrouche is anticipated to reduce the team size to 23 players. The Amavubi team will gather in Kigali on Sunday in preparation for their qualifying match. Rwanda is set to face the Super Eagles at Amahoro Stadium in Kigali on Friday, March 21st, during the fifth matchday. In four days, they will face Lesotho’s Crocodiles at the same location.
