United States President, Donald Trump, has said that Iran wanted him to be their Supreme Leader but he refused.
Trump made the claim on Wednesday during the National Republican Congressional Committee, NRCC, annual fundraising dinner in Washington DC.
The US President also said that Iran is negotiating, noting that they want to make a deal so badly but they are afraid to say it.
“Iran wants me to be their Supreme Leader but I don’t want. Thank you. It’s never been the head of a country that wanted that job less than being the head of Iran. I don’t want it,” he said.
The Republican equally stated that the war in the Middle East was a military operation, claiming that the US is decimating Iran.
According to him, Iran would have used a nuclear weapon against the US without hesitation.
