International friendly: Ex-Strasbourg forward, Zenke names two Super Eagles players who impress him 

Former Strasbourg forward, Simon Zenke, has identified Emmanuel Fernandez and Chibuike Nwaiwu as the two Super Eagles players who impressed him after Nigeria’s international friendly 2-1 win against Iran on Friday.

Recall that Fernandez and Nwaiwu replaced both Semi Ajayi and Igoh Ogbu, respectively, during the encounter in Antalya, Turkey.

“I’m happy with what I saw in the game against Iran, and the win was very good,” Zenke told Footy-Africa.

“I was particularly impressed with the two players – Fernandez and Nwaiwu – who came on as substitutes.

“The reality now is that Nigeria has a variety of options in central defence, and that is a very positive development,” he added.
