
Bahrain’s National Communication Centre has said that an Iranian drone attack caused a fire at one of Bapco Energies storage facilities.
The Centre revealed this on Sunday in a statement.
According to the statement: “The fire has been fully extinguished, and the situation is under control.
“Damages are currently being assessed and evaluated. No injuries have been reported.”
In the same vein, the Bahraini Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company stated that a number of its operational units were attacked by Iranian drones in the early hours of Sunday morning.
In a report by the state-run Bahrain News Agency, the attack caused fires across the affected units.
“All fires have since been fully extinguished and the situation is now under control,” the statement said.
