The United States has conducted another strike on Kharg Island ahead of the deadline set by Donald Trump, as reported by an AP source.
Previously, Iran’s Mehr news agency reported that US-Israeli strikes had targeted the crucial Iranian oil export terminal.
The official stated that the US targeted military installations on the island.
These strikes occurred just hours before the deadline President Trump established for Iran to comply with his demands or face significant military action.
He stated on Tuesday morning that “the entire civilization will perish tonight” if Iran fails to reach an agreement.
Trump has warned of the potential deployment of ground forces to take control of vital oil infrastructure on the island.
Media reports on Tuesday indicated that US-Israeli strikes have targeted the essential Iranian oil export terminal located on Kharg Island.
“The American-Zionist adversary has executed multiple attacks on Kharg Island, and numerous explosions have been reported in the area,” stated Iran’s Mehr news agency.
As per an X post by journalist Barak Ravid from the news outlet Axios, referencing a US official, the US executed “strikes on military targets” on the island situated off the western coast of Iran.
