‘Game of Thrones’ actor, Michael Patrick dies at 35

Irish actor, Michael Patrick, widely recognised for his role in the hit television series Game of Thrones, has passed away at the age of 35 following a prolonged illness.

His death was confirmed by his wife, Naomi Sheehan, who disclosed that the actor had been living with Motor Neuron Disease for the past three years.

In an emotional tribute, Sheehan expressed deep sorrow over the loss, describing her late husband as a source of inspiration to many who encountered him throughout his life.

She noted that beyond his battle with illness, he was admired for his vibrant personality, warmth, and uplifting presence.

“Words can’t capture the depth of our heartbreak. Mick inspired everyone fortunate enough to know him, not only during his illness but throughout his entire life.

“He embraced life fully, with joy, boundless energy, and a contagious sense of humour. He believed the most important things in life are simple: to eat, to drink, and to be loved. So don’t overthink it—eat, drink, and love,” she said.

Michael Patrick’s passing has left a void among family, friends and fans, who remember him for both his talent on screen and his remarkable spirit off it.
