Akwa United, Godswill Akpabio FC book President Federation Cup spots 

Akwa United and Godswill Akpabio have qualified for the preliminary round of the President Federation Cup.

Akwa United beat Heaven’s Race Academy 4-0 to reach the final of the State Federation Cup, while Godswill Akpabio FC defeated Palm Syrups 4-3 to book a place in the final.

The state final will take place on Saturday, 25 April at the Uyo Township Stadium.

Akwa United will be aiming to make-up for their promotion miss in the final.

The Promise Keepers have won the state Federation Cup twice in 2015 and 2017.

Godswill Akpabio FC will be playing in the final for the first time.
