Hazyview – Three bodies burnt beyond recognition have been found in a bush in Hazyview, Mpumalanga, amid suspicion they may be kidnapping victims.
Apparently, three people were reported kidnapped several days ago in Mbombela (Nelspruit).
The gruesome discovery was made in Hazyview, outside Bushbuckridge, earlier today, Wednesday, 22 April 2026.
Mpumalanga Police Spokesperson Colonel Mavela Masondo said: “Three people were found in the bush, in Hazyview, burnt beyond recognition.
“An investigation is underway to establish if the victims are the three people who were reportedly kidnapped in Nelspruit on 14 April 2026.”
Colonel Masando also revealed that a 29-year-old male has been taken in for questioning regarding the kidnapping and murder.
