NPFL: Ogunbote Emphasizes the Need for Shooting Stars to Capitalize on Their Victory Against Niger Tornadoes

Gbenga Ogunbote, the technical adviser for Shooting Stars, is optimistic that the team’s difficult phase has ended after their 3-1 victory against Niger Tornadoes on Sunday. The Oluyole Warriors celebrated a return to form in matchday 30, breaking a streak of seven games without a win. Ogunbote expressed that this victory has provided a sense of relief for both him and his players. “I believe our team is capable of competing against any opponent,” he said to the club’s media. “However, during tough times, there’s not much you can do except be grateful that we’ve returned to winning. I hope we can keep this momentum going.” The Oluyole Warriors climbed to fourth place in the standings after their victory. Ogunbote believes they have a chance to secure a continental ticket by the season’s end. “We have eight matches left to decide that, and we will keep striving to perform well, as I always emphasize.” From my perspective, no one can predict what will occur after the season ends. “Let’s take a look at what we can achieve with the remaining eight games,” he mentioned.
