
The All Progressives Congress, APC, Benue State Chapter, has released the report of its State Assembly Screening Committee, disqualifying over 20 aspirants from participating in the party’s primaries for the 2027 Benue State House of Assembly elections.
The committee stated that the disqualifications were due to non-compliance with the party’s guidelines and constitution.
The APC called on all the affected aspirants to respect the outcome of the screening process and urged party members to remain united as preparations intensify for the 2027 general elections.
The report, issued by the Committee Chairman, Dr. Auwalu Ishiye, and Secretary, Barr. Tijani Abdullahi, listed the affected aspirants who were screened out of the exercise.
