Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has carried out another minor reshuffle in the Adamawa State Executive Council, reassigning two commissioners to different ministries.
Under the new arrangement, Joab Sahma has been moved from the Ministry of Lands and Survey to the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry, while Dr John Ishaya Dabari will now oversee the Ministry of Lands and Survey after leaving the Commerce, Trade and Industry Ministry.
A statement issued by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, said the changes take immediate effect.
Governor Fintiri said the redeployment was designed to inject fresh energy into government operations and sustain the administration’s commitment to effective public service.
He urged the commissioners to approach their new responsibilities with dedication and renewed focus, stressing the need to implement programmes and policies that would positively affect residents of the state.
