NPFL: Okara unhappy with Bayelsa United’s relegation

Bayelsa United technical adviser, Meremu Okara, has expressed disappointment over his team’s relegation from the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

The Prosperity Boys alongside Wikki Tourists have already been relegated to the second tier.

Two more teams are expected to join them after the conclusion of the matchday 38 fixture this weekend.

Okara said a lot of factors contributed to the team’s poor end to the campaign.

“Honestly we are not happy as we feel sad that we are relegated which is not a good experience,” Okara told frontpage sport.

“The management and the players the coaches are all sad with the development.”

Bayelsa United will lock horns with Kwara United in their last match in the league this weekend.
