
Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola, has named legendary Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson as the greatest manager in England.
The Spaniard spoke at his pre-match press conference ahead of Man Cityās final Premier League tie against Aston Villa onĀ Sunday.
āHe [Ferguson] is the greatest in this country,ā Guardiola said.
āThe tenure, the time, and for many, many reasons⦠Iām happy that Sir Alex Ferguson, the greatest, could see.
āIām pretty sure [to] Sir Alex, we are not the ānoisy neighboursā, we are the āneighboursā. Just āthe neighboursā. And Iām happy that he has been watching.ā
Ferguson retired three years before Guardiola joined Manchester City in 2016 after leaving Bayern Munich.
