Pretoria ā The Gauteng Political Killings Task Team (PKTT) has arrested a 35-year-old suspect in connection with the murder of Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) Tshwane Region 2 Secretary and Election Coordinator, Monicca Dube.
Dube was fatally shot multiple times by assailants at her home in Wallmannsthal, Tshwane, on 13 June 2026.
The EFF official was 44 when she died.
South African Police Service Spokesperson Brigadier Athlenda Mathe said the suspect arrested by the PKTT was expected to appear in court tomorrow, Thursday, 16 July 2026.
