Two Nigerians Accused Of Sexual Exploitation Of Minors Brought To U.S. To Face ChargesĀ

New York – Two Nigerians have been brought to the United States to face serious charges that include sexual exploitation of minors, coercion, and enticement.

FBI Director Kash Patel announced in a post on X that the bureau has brought back two high-value targets from Nigeria to the United States to face justice for alleged sextortion crimes targeting minors. Ā 

ā€œAdebola Festus Adekunle and Mudasiru Afeez Olawale were arrested in Nigeria in 2023 and are now on U.S. soil,ā€ Patel said. Ā 

ā€œThe charges include sexual exploitation of minors, coercion and enticement, extortion, distribution and production of child sexual abuse material, and other offenses. Ā 

ā€œOne of these alleged schemes resulted in the death of a child.ā€ā€™

Patel said the two suspects were overseas for three years until their arrest in Nigeria.

ā€œNow they’re back on U.S. soil to answer for the charges against them,ā€ he said
