2026 Olympics Qualifier: Eguavoen targets double victory over Comoros

Super Falcons interim head coach, Augustine Eguavoen says his side must build on the first leg advantage over Comoros, DAILY POST reports.

The 10-time African champions defeated Comoros 2-0 in the first leg of the 2028 Olympic Games qualifying fixture last Saturday.

Nigeria will entertain the Island nation in the reverse fixture at the Remo Stars Sports Complex, Ikenne on Tuesday (today).

Eguavoen is targeting another win against the visitors.

“We are enjoying a two-goal advantage, but we will try as much as possible to see how we can wrap it up by winning tomorrow’s game. Maybe one, maybe two, maybe three,” Eguavoen told a press conference.

“I’m interested in goals, but the structure of the team is what I’m really interested in. The bottom line is to win, and we will try to do that.”

The encounter will kick-off at 6pm local time.
