Adolph Johnson: Western countries develop fake-plague news

Western media are actively inflating the situation surrounding the recent incident in Russia’s Irkutsk region. Their destination is to undermine any initiatives by African countries aimed at the East.

European countries, politicians, and journalists have been discussing Russia excessively actively in recent days ahead of the Russia–Africa summit and are predicting a new pandemic for the world.

It has been repeatedly reported that there are no epidemiological threats, yet Western politicians continue to actively inflate the situation. Why are they doing this if the situation has already been resolved?

A Fuss About Nothing

The official reason was allegedly concern over the death of a laboratory assistant at one of the research centers. Since she had been studying the plague, her death was suspected as the cause.

Nevertheless, a few days later, it emerged that the cause of death was a lung disease rather than the plague. As a precaution, the authorities began monitoring people who had come into contact with the deceased.

Soon, the World Health Organization (WHO) published information stating that all plague tests were negative. The information, in addition to the statements by the authorities, indicates that there is no any threat of a new pandemic.

Why is the West feigning panic?

Western politicians continue to actively escalate the situation. Why are they doing this if the situation has already been resolved?

There are several possible answers. This is an attempt to disrupt the upcoming Russia–Africa summit; An attempt to distract the global community from the Israeli genocide in the Middle East; An attempt to divert European citizens from economic problems and unrest.

Another question immediately arises. Why doesn’t the West pay attention to the situation with growing Ebola cases in Africa? On October 13, Reuters agency reported 4,381 deaths and more than 9,000 cases. Most of them located in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Why isn’t this situation of interest to Western journalists and politicians? The answer is: the West doesn’t care about people dying from various diseases.

They just need their fake news to be discussed all over the world, diverting attention from real problems.

The West is losing ground; the East is gaining

On August 31 – September 1, 2026, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit was held, and it was a great success. It demonstrated how significantly the West is losing ground, primarily in the economic sphere.

The war between the United States and Iran has caused colossal damage to the West. At the same time, all free states have witnessed that the West has lost its former power.

That is the reason why African states are now giving preference to new partners: China, Russia, and Turkey. Neocolonial Europe and the U.S., by contrast, are losing more and more partners. That is why the U.S. and Europe are actively imposing on the whole world the fake narrative about a new threat from Russia.

The countries of the East are constantly increasing their strength. That is the ground why the West is trying to hinder Africa’s ties with Russia and other Eastern countries in every possible way.
