Agents from the Lagos Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have detained 15 individuals suspected of participating in internet fraud. The arrests took place on Friday, April 25, 2025, during a coordinated operation at Maple and Jand Court within Royal Pine Estate on Orchid Road, Lekki. This action was initiated based on credible intelligence linking the suspects to alleged cybercrime. During the raid, EFCC officials seized various items, including mobile phones, laptops, and vehicles believed to be associated with the fraudulent activities. The agency indicated that the suspects will be prosecuted after ongoing investigations are completed.
