David Beckham, the former England captain, has chosen the five best players he ever played with for a five-a-side team. He made his debut at Manchester United at 17 in 1992 and went on to have a remarkable career in football, winning six Premier League titles before moving to Real Madrid, where he claimed a LaLiga title. In 2007, he joined LA Galaxy in the MLS but returned to Europe for two loan spells with AC Milan. Eventually, he settled back in Europe for one season at Paris Saint-Germain, where he helped the team win Ligue 1 before retiring. Recently, his former teammate Rio Ferdinand asked him to assemble a five-a-side team from players he had shared a locker room with. Beckham chose not to include a goalkeeper, selecting defensive players Roberto Carlos and Paolo Maldini, with whom he played at Real Madrid and Milan, respectively. For midfield, he picked Zinedine Zidane, a teammate during his time at the Bernabeu, and chose another former Real player, Ronaldo Nazario, to lead the attack.
