Tinubu urges governors to allow their actions to demonstrate their effectiveness.

The President of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu, has called on the governors of all 36 states to let their achievements be their testimony. He encouraged them to stay committed to providing significant progress for their citizens, despite the challenges posed by what he termed “armchair critics.” During his two-day working visit to Katsina State, Tinubu highlighted that tangible accomplishments and assessable outcomes are the real measures of successful leadership. He stated, “Put the people at the core of your initiatives.” Your diligent efforts and tangible results will address any critique. “Stay focused and let your achievements do the talking,” Tinubu remarked while inaugurating significant infrastructure projects. He also inaugurated the 24-kilometer Eastern Bypass Road, which Governor Dikko Radda completed in just 18 months. The road stretches from Dutsin-ma Road passing through Kano and Daura Roads, concluding at Yandaki in the Kaita Local Government Area. Additionally, he launched the Katsina Agricultural Mechanised Centre, a key initiative aimed at enhancing agriculture in the state. In his remarks, President Tinubu praised Governor Radda for his achievements in vital areas such as agriculture, healthcare, education, and infrastructure, highlighting the considerable advancements made in under two years. The President recognized the difficulties posed by violence and banditry in the area but lauded the governor’s bravery and perseverance. “We have chosen the path of peace and stability.” I understand that you are confronted with terrorism and banditry in the state; however, your resolve and bravery to advance Katsina State have been evident. You won’t have to walk by yourself. He reassured, “The Federal Government will stand by you.” Tinubu emphasized that hunger and poverty are the most significant dangers to national peace and stability, pledging his administration’s dedication to food security and agricultural support. “The economy is on the right path.”
