EPL: Chelsea’s title hope suffers after a 2-1 loss to Fulham

Chelsea’s aspirations for the Premier League title took a hit on Saturday when they were defeated 2-1 by Fulham at Stamford Bridge. The Blues failed to capitalize on the opportunity to take the top spot last week after a goalless draw with Everton. They initially took the lead against Fulham with Cole Palmer’s 12th goal of the season. However, in the second half, Fulham scored twice through Harry Wilson and Rodrigo Muniz, securing all three points. As a result, Chelsea remains in second place with 35 points after 18 matches, four points behind league leaders Liverpool, who still have two games in hand. Fulham has climbed to eighth place with 28 points.
