A Halifax higher college security guard is suing the vice-principal for allegedly stabbed by a 15-year-old student inside the building, alleging that the watch did not follow proper research and de-escalation methods prior to the invasion. Vice-principal Wayne Rodgers alleges that Ryan Cosgrove allegedly omitted a crossbow from the child’s class bag on March 20, 2023 in a declaration of state filed on April 28. All three persons were seated at Rodgers ‘ desk at Charles P. Allen High School in suburban Bedford at the time. In accordance with an agreed statement of information that was presented last year to a judge in the Nova Scotia children court, Cosgrove called the police after leaving the office with a butterfly weapon, leaving Rodgers alone with the student in a sealed company that was visible from the outside. Moments later, the pupil pulled a folded knife from his bag and half stabbed the vice-principal as he attempted to flee. Before leaving the building, the boy fled and stabbed an administrative assistant in the rear. He was later detained on college basis. He was given a two-year supervision and two-year parole after entering guilty to two counts of aggravated abuse. His privacy is protected from release under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. According to the complaint filed with the Nova Scotia Supreme Court, Rodgers was stabbed in the lower back and lower torso, which caused heat and blood to enter his neck chamber.
