Yusuf Anas, a forward for Nasarawa United and member of the Super Eagles Team B, has commended former Super Eagles coach Salisu Yusuf for helping the Solid Miners secure their place in the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), according to Completesports. According to reports, Salisu Yusuf joined Nasarawa United in mid-February 2025, at a time when the team was struggling against relegation, sitting at 18th place with 26 points after 29 matches. Now, with only one game left in the season, Nasarawa United has managed to secure their position, currently ranked 9th with 52 points. Anas Yusuf, currently at the top of the goal scorers’ list with 17 goals, attributes the successful turnaround to Salisu Yusuf. “He is an outstanding coach,” he stated. “He understands the job thoroughly, especially in terms of maximizing his players’ potential,” Anas, a forward for the Super Eagles B, shared with Completesports. “Moreover, he regards us as his own kids, which motivates every player to put in extra effort in every match. We’re grateful to have maintained our position in the NPFL and truly attribute all our success to God.” Anas informed Completesports. He expressed his happiness about being involved in the revival of Nasarawa United.
