The East Rand Youth Orchestra (ERYO) is teaming up with a choir from the St Dunstan’s Preparatory School for a glorious Easter experience.
ERYO conductor Pienaar Fourie explained that this concert will feature songs specially orchestrated to be performed with orchestral accompaniment.
Other music in the programme is mostly popular religious works that carry the message of Easter, including Evening Prayer by Humperdinck, Arrival of the Queen of Sheba, Meditation from Thaïs, Water Music by Händel and Bach’s Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring.
“We invite everyone to come and share this touching new experience with these young musicians in the spirit of celebrating Easter,” Fourie said.

There is no interval. Tickets are R140 for adults and R80 for pensioners and children under 18.
