Eguma will lead the nine-time Nigeria Premier Football League champions after the dismissal of Yemi Olanrewaju. Olanrewaju was let go on Saturday due to the team’s disappointing performance in recent games. The People’s Elephants have not won any of their last eight matches across all competitions, marking their longest winless run in two decades. Eguma previously managed Rivers United, a former NPFL champion.
