Chukwueze is set to play for a new coach following AC Milan’s decision to dismiss Sergio Conceicao.

AC Milan has terminated the contract of coach Sergio Conceicao after only six months at the helm. Former manager Massimiliano Allegri, who led the team from 2010 to 2014, is rumored to be in line for a comeback. Conceicao, 50, took over the position last December following the dismissal of Paulo Fonseca, signing an 18-month contract. During his six years at Porto, he secured 11 trophies and managed to win the Italian Super Cup with Milan just a week after his appointment. However, they were defeated by Bologna in the Coppa Italia final, and their performance in the league did not improve significantly. Under Conceicao’s management, they ended up in eighth place, resulting in no European competition for the next season, while their rivals Inter are set to face Paris St-Germain in the Champions League final this weekend. Milan expressed, “The club would like to extend its gratitude to Sergio and his team for their hard work, professionalism, and dedication in leading the squad over the past months. The Rossoneri family bids farewell to the coach who played a key role in securing the 50th trophy in Milan’s history, and we wish him all the best for his future endeavors.” BBC Sports
