The Délégation générale au Pèlerinage (DGP) has learned with regret the remembrance to God of the pilgrim Adja Momy Seck, born in 1954 in Thiès, who died following an illness on 11 June 2025, after the landing of pilgrim flight 1 at the Blaise Diagne de Diass International Airport (AIBD). This death brings to three the number of Senegalese pilgrims disappeared since the beginning of the pilgrimage to the Holy Places of Islam. In addition, the first return flights of the pilgrims began on 11 June 2025.
