Rangers striker Cyriel Dessers is poised to depart from the Light Blues to join AEK Athens, a prominent team in the Greek Super League. Last season, Dessers netted 29 goals in all competitions for the Scottish Premiership side. The Nigerian forward has reportedly reached a verbal agreement on a deal worth £30,000 a week with AEK Athens, according to Record Sport. The Yellow and Reds, who previously attempted to acquire the forward in January, are also prepared to offer Rangers £5. Despite ongoing scrutiny from fans and analysts, he has become an essential player for the Gers. At 30 years old, he has attracted frequent interest during transfer windows, with his agent Stijn Franics disclosing that around 10 clubs showed interest in January.
