All flights from Iranian airports have been halted following recent military exchanges between the two nations, preventing the Iranian player from boarding his planned flight on Saturday to Los Angeles to join Inter. Taremi will be absent from Inter’s first game against Monterrey on Wednesday, and Italian news outlets indicate that the 32-year-old is unlikely to play in future matches too, even if Iranian airspace restrictions are lifted. Taremi transferred to Inter from Porto last year.
