Former Minister Moustapha Diop, also Mayor of Louga, will be heard ce Friday 4 July 2024, by the Commission d’instruction de la Haute Cour de justice. He must explain the substance of his dossier of alleged misappropriation of public funds amounting to 931 million F CFA. Placed under mandat de dépôt since 22 March 2025, Moustapha Diop is accused of financial irregularities related to the management of funds intended for the purchase of masks during the Covid-19 pandemic.
