A dispute between two apprentice carpenters in Kaolack took a tragic turn, resulting in the death of one of them. The incident occurred on 18 March in the studio they shared, when a verbal exchange between F. Ndao and I. Diaw, known under the alias of “MC Diaw”, a degenerate in a violent aggression.. In the paroxysm of the dispute, F. Ndao would have used an iron tool to inflict serious injuries on his colleague. Transported in an emergency to the hospital, MC Diaw was plunged into a coma from which he never woke up. He succumbed to his injuries on 21 March, turning the case from a simple altercation to a prosecution for murder. Interpelled and placed in custody, F. Ndao has been brought before the judicial authorities. He must answer the murder charges at his scheduled appearance on March 24 before the investigating judge.
