A group of 100 Black researchers, scientists, and stakeholders has gathered to endorse the conclusions of “Advancing the Movement: HIV Prevention Research for Black Communities.”  

The first ever National Black-focused HIV Prevention Research Agenda was developed over a year ago at a press conference scheduled for April 8th, 2018, at Noon in Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia ( Black PR Wire ). This included methods to identify Black researchers, network of research, and national organizations that would like to work together to ensure that the Black community has equal access to PrEP through HIV prevention research. This first-ever team made up of 100 Black researchers, scientists, and stakeholders from across America will join PrEP in Black America ( PIBA ) on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at Noon, in honor of National Minority Health Month. The event will be followed by a researcher-focused, invite-only convocation that will follow the 2025 Biomedical HIV Prevention Summit. S. The research’s lead team members, health care professionals, and leading elected officials may be a part of the media’s conversation. The team will also have the opportunity to discuss the latest CDC budget cuts and examine how they will affect health care in Black communities, particularly those with HIV, PrEP in Black America, Black Public Health Academy, and another top-tier healthcare specialists are represented by the WHO.
