A man aged a little over 30 years was found hanging in a forest under a tree, in the village of Keur Assane, situated in the commune of Pire (département de Tivaouane, région de Thiès). According to preliminary findings, the body of the victim was already in a state of very advanced putrefaction at the time of its discovery, which suggests that he had been dead for several days, reports the Rfm this Monday. Alerted, the sapeurs-pompiers and agents of the service d’hygiène were quickly deployed on the scene. After verification and on the order of the prosecutor, the man was buried on the spot. An investigation has been opened by the competent authorities in order to determine the true circumstances of this tragedy and to understand the reasons that could have pushed the victim to such a desperate act.
