The Kwa-Thema SAPS attended a murder scene on Rapodile Street in the early hours of February 2.On arrival, officers found a 26-year-old man lying on the street facing up.
When they asked those around what happened, they replied that the victim was trying to stop two men who were fighting.
It is alleged one of the men took out a knife and stabbed the victim.
An ambulance was called, and the victim was declared dead on the scene.
A suspect handed over himself to the Duduza SAPS and was taken to the Kwa-Thema SAPS.
