A Nigerian man has been apprehended for allegedly breaking into a building under construction and stealing electrical wires and aluminum window frames.

The incident was shared in a video posted on a popular social media platform, X (formerly Twitter).

The video shows a nearly completed structure with visible damage, including removed wiring and missing aluminum fittings.

The ceiling space where the suspect reportedly gained entry into the house was also captured in the footage.

According to the post, the young man was caught in the act and held by a group of men, who walked him through various parts of the building to confront him with the damages he had allegedly caused.

The video further shows the suspect being taken to a separate location, believed to be a hideout where he had stashed materials stolen from this and possibly other uncompleted buildings in the area.

The incident has since sparked reactions online, with many calling for tighter security around construction sites.
