The Commissariat d’arrondissement de Pikine has been put at the disposal of a network specialized in the falsification of administrative documents. Three individuals were arrested, and a significant quantity of fraudulent coins was seized. It is a coup de filet majeur that has been carried out by the elements of the commissariat d’arrondissement de Pikine. Three persons have been arrested for falsification, use of false documents and association of perpetrators, in the context of a case of production and dissemination of falsified administrative documents. The case broke out following the discovery of a false birth certificate introduced in a dossier for a national identity card. Alerted, the Direction de l’Automatisation des Fichiers (DAF) has summoned, on Wednesday 28 May 2025, a suspect whose dossier was found to contain irregularities. At his hearing, the latter admitted to having acquired the document for 50 000 CFA francs from an individual not identified at that stage. L’intermédiaire has been found and heard.
