Former Nigerian international Mutiu Adepoju has urged Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze to put in significant effort to ensure he performs consistently at AC Milan. Chukwueze has had limited playing time this season, frequently coming on as a substitute. In a conversation with RG, the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations champion advised Chukwueze against leaving AC Milan this summer and encouraged him to strive for a regular starting position on the team. Samuel Chukwueze’s tenure at Milan has been fairly inconsistent. “He must put in more effort because if he departs from Milan and maintains the same performance level elsewhere, it would be a grave error,” Adepoju told RG. “He needs to exert himself more to secure a spot on the team and play regularly, as that will allow his career to flourish.”
